Ok, so the trip relevance of this entry is low. I needed a vacation now (actually TODAY!); it is my birthday now (well, yesterday). Mostly, that's coincidence. But if we pretend the trip is a present to myself, then I have every reason to mention the great lunch my friend G. treated me to (at Aperto in SF ... yum!). And, I have an excuse to include this cool card she made me. It's a birthday card -- but a bon voyage one, too!

Like the lifted soccer picture visa snap. Not as good as the Virginia ID you, uh, had in high school.
Hope you get some internet access on your trip. I've heard it's really catching on. Over 12 states have it now and some foreign countries like England too. Boy I love the net. I've won over 50 free laptops since I got service. It's amazing. Seems every few days when I log on, I win another one. I must be the luckiest guy on earth. Funny, they never seem to arrive in the mail though.
